What kind of person are you recruiting?

08 May 2015

People who ‘like’ something, or people who re-share it.

People who mention in passing, or people who recommend.

People who endorse, or people who recruit.

People who buy the product, or people who invest in the company.

People who take short-term trips, or people who prepare to have a long-term presence.

People who enjoy headlines, or people who dive into content.

People who read, or people who apply.

Before you start ‘growth hacking’ perhaps you should know what kind of growth you are hacking for.

Large numbers of the wrong kind of people might limit how far you can grow.

What happened to the unreached this week?

Each Friday I send a newsletter to over 2,400 mission activists, advocates, managers, field workers, and pastors - about what happened among the unreached, and what could happen next. Each issue comes with a curated list of nearly 100 links, and note why each is important. You can get on the list for free.
