Significance precedes momentum
In any kind of movement, significance precedes momentum.
Consider the floating lily pond that doubles in size every day. To keep it from covering a pond, when do you need to eradicate or cut back lilies? It depends on how many lilies you can eradicate at a time. If you can only eradicate 10 lilies per day, then you’d better be out doing it at least twice a week. (And it’s a lot easier to eradicate on day 2 than on day 5.)
Significance cannot be determined by momentum. The only real indicator of potential significance is the speed of multiplication.
Don’t consider how many new lilies were added today. Instead, ask: how long will it take this movement to double in size? and double again?
It can be easy for 1 to become 2. It’s harder for 2 to become 4. And even harder for 4 to become 8.
If your tactics are not scalable, your movement will not be significant.
